WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 30 Wake Forest men's tennis team opened weekend competition with a 7-0 win over Clemson at Leighton Stadium on Friday night. The victory set the Demon Deacon season record to 14-6, 5-1 while the Tigers now stand at 13-13, 1-5. Cory Parr and Jason Morgenstern each notched 6-0, 6-0 singles victories in the WFU shutout. Sophomore Steve Forman posted his fifth win of the season at No. 1, defeating Clemson's Carlos Alvarez 6-1, 6-7, 6-2. Jon Wolff added a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 4, while Mariusz Adamski and Andrew Brasseaux both pulled out wins in three-set matches to set the final Demon Deacon tally at 7-0. Wake Forest will host its final home match of the season on Sunday against Georgia Tech at 12 p.m. The match will serve as the WFU's Senior Day, where seniors Mariusz Adamski and Charles Sartor will be honored for their successful careers with the Demon Deacons.
