Men's Tennis Falls to Miami, 4-3

Wake's Munoz plays to third-set tiebreaker

MIAMI, FL -- The Wake Forest men's tennis team fell to Miami, 4-3, on Friday afternoon in Miami, Fla. With the victory, Miami improved to 8-6 while Wake Forest fell to 6-6 on the season.

The match was decided at No. 6 singles, where Miami's Johan Lindqvist downed Raul Munoz in a thrilling match that came down to a third-set tiebreaker, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7).

Wake Forest captured the doubles point by sweeping all three flights. The Deacs captured wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, but Miami rallied to win the other four flights.

The Demon Deacons will return to action on Tuesday, March 17 when they host South Carolina at 2 p.m.
