March 14, 2008 FORT WORTH, Texas - Despite opening the match with a doubles win, the No. 22 Wake Forest men's tennis team was topped 4-3 by No. 27 TCU on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. Wake Forest now sits at 9-5 for the season as it heads back into conference play on Tuesday, March 18 with North Carolina. The Horned Frogs improved to 11-4 with the victory on Friday evening. WFU's Mariusz Adamski and Jon Wolff jumped quickly into play with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles. 31st-ranked WFU pair Steve Forman and Cory Parr followed with its fourth consecutive win (8-5) to clinch the doubles point. The Frogs knotted the score when 21st-ranked Cosmin Cotet defeated Steve Forman 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1. Adamski and Parr added additional Demon Deacon wins at Nos. 2 and 3, but TCU held the final edge as Zack Nichols defeated Wolff in a third set tiebreaker at No. 5. No. 27 TCU (11-4) def.
