WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest men's tennis team split the singles competition with Florida State but captured two of the three doubles matches to claim a 4-3 victory in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener. Myles Clouston led the Demon Deacons (3-5, 1-0 ACC) as he defeated the Seminoles' Yvo Nites at first singles by a score of 6-1, 6-1 and then teamed with Raul Munoz at first doubles to defeat Davidson Kozlowski and Ty Braswell 9-8. Munoz was also victorious at second singles as he defeated Braswell in straight sets by a count of 7-6, 6-2. Justin Kaufman had the final singles win for the Deacons as he beat Noah Schnell at number six singles by a score of 7-6, 7-6. Kaufman later teamed with Johan Hanson at third singles and defeated FSU's Chad Mooney and Schnell by a score of 8-4. Wake Forest will return to action on Tuesday when it hosts Florida.
