Kona, Hawaii - The 23rd-ranked men's tennis concluded action at the Hilton Waikaloa Kona Invitational on Monday with an evenly played match against No. 73 Oregon. Participating in mock dual matches where results count toward individual standings, but not for the overall team record, the Demon Deacons took four of seven singles matches and the Ducks took two of three doubles matches.

Trent Brendon led Wake Forest with wins in both singles and doubles, as he stopped Oregon's Arron Spencer in straight sets, winning 6-1, 6-3 and teaming up with doubles partner David Loewenthal to defeat Oded Teig and Sven Swinnen 8-4. David Bere and Brett Ross picked up a straight set victories in singles play and Derrick Spice fought past Jason Menke for a singles win as well.
