WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest sophomore midfielder Corben Bone continues to receive national recognition after his performances last week. Bone was named to the National Team of the Week by Soccer America and Top Drawer Soccer after recording a goal and four assists in a pair of games last week.

Bone, who was honored by College Soccer News on Monday, had a strong performance against Boston College last weekend, scoring the game-winning goal and assisting on three other goals. Earlier in the week, Bone added an assist in a non-conference game against Davidson.

The three assists for Bone against Boston College gives him 15 assists on the season, the most in a single season in Wake Forest history. The midfielder from Dallas leads the nation in assists per game, averaging 0.94 assists per contest. He also has five goals on the season to give him 25 points, which ranks third on the team. Bone has recorded at least one point in eight of the last nine matches.

Wake Forest returns to action on Saturday at 7 p.m. (ET) for a road ACC match at North Carolina. The game will be shown live on ACC Select.
