WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Sophomore midfielder Corben Bone was named to College Soccer News' National Team of the Week on Monday after scoring a goal and adding four assists in victories over Davidson and No. 19 Boston College last week. Bone, a native of Dallas, Texas, opened the week with an assist against Davidson, assisting on the game-winning goal scored by Cody Arnoux. Against Boston College, Bone scored the eventual game-winning goal and assisted on three other Wake Forest goals. Bone now has 15 assists on the season, which ranks as the most in a single season in Wake Forest men's soccer history, besting the previous mark of 13 held by Austin da Luz and Ryan Solle. Bone has also scored at least one point in eight of the last nine games. The honor marks the second time this season that Bone has been named to the National Team of the Week by College Soccer News. Wake Forest is back in action this Saturday, traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C., to face No. 7 North Carolina. First touch is set for 7 p.m. (ET) and the game will be aired live on the web by ACC Select.
