WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The most successful senior class in the history of Wake Forest men's soccer will play its final regular season home game on Saturday night as the Deacons host Boston College at 7:15 p.m. (ET). The senior class will be honored in a pregame ceremony, scheduled for approximately 7 p.m. (ET). The game against the Eagles will also be carried live on the web by ACC Select.

The 2008 senior class has helped Wake Forest to unprecedented success, recording a 67-13-9 record over the last four years. After finishing last in the conference in 2005, the eight-man senior class helped the Deacons to the 2006 ACC regular season title and the 2007 national championship, the first national title in program history. The 2008 senior class consists of Lyle Adams, Cline Beam, Evan Brown, Will Clayton, Sam Cronin, Jamie Franks, Michael Lahoud and Marcus Tracy.

The senior class has also had great success individually. Cronin, Adams, Lahoud and Franks rank in the top 10 at Wake Forest in games played. Cronin, Lahoud and Tracy have each earned All-ACC honors at least once in their career. Cronin was a 2007 Soccer America First Team MVP, while Tracy was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player at the 2007 NCAA College Cup.

Wake Forest enters the home finale with a 14-0-1 overall record and a 4-0-1 record in conference action. The Deacons enter the weekend in first place in the conference, one point ahead of Virginia.

The Deacons picked up their 14th win of the season against Davidson on Tuesday night, downing the Wildcats 3-0. Junior forward Cody Arnoux scored twice in 36 seconds to stake the Deacons to a 2-0 advantage and fellow junior Zack Schilawski added a goal in the second half.

Junior goalkeeper Akira Fitzgerald notched his 10th shutout of the season, making one save. Fitzgerald lowered his goals against average to an ACC best 0.40.

Boston College, the 2007 ACC Tournament champion, currently has a 7-4-2 record and a 3-2-0 mark in conference play. The Eagles sit in seventh place in the ACC with six points on the season. BC is coming off a 1-0 victory over Virginia, handing the Cavaliers their first loss in conference play.

The Eagles are led by Edvin Worley. Worley leads the team in goals (3), assists (3) and points (9). Alejandro Bedoya has also found the back of the net three times this season.

Chris Brown has played every minute in goal this season for Boston College. Brown has allowed 12 goals on the season, posting a 0.88 goals against average on the season. Brown has two shutouts on the season.

Wake Forest and Boston College are meeting for the sixth time in series history. The Eagles lead the all-time series 2-1-2, including a pair of victories last season.
