WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team will honor its senior class in a pregame ceremony before Saturday's 7 p.m. game against Boston College. The winningest class in program history, the eight-member senior class has compiled a 67-13-9 record over the last four years and helped to lead the team to the 2007 national championship. WakeForestSports.com recently had a chance to sit down with senior forward and M.A.C. Hermann Trophy candidate Marcus Tracy to talk about his experiences at Wake Forest. A full transcript of the interview follows:

Q: Is it hard to believe that you're getting ready to play your last regular season home game at Spry Stadium?
A: It's unbelievable. I can remember back to the first day. I can remember the first practice in preseason. I can remember the first time I went to the Soccer House. To see it all come to an end is bittersweet.

Q: What's been your favorite memory at Wake Forest?
A: The national championship has been the best moment. From the recruiting trips to the first day I was here with the players and the coaching staff that was the goal we set. To accomplish the goal was just amazing.

Q: What was it like to win the national title?
A: For a while it was surreal. It didn't even set in that we had won. It was an indescribable feeling. We're hoping for another one this year.

Q: Talk about how the team developed over your four seasons?
A: Our freshman year we had a very young team. We've had good teams since I came here but a lot of that is because of the teams that we've had in the past and what Coach Jay (Vidovich) and his coaching staff have done up until now. Our class has just tried to grow and mature and bring the new players along with us. I think we've paved a pretty good path for some other people as well. We owe a lot of our success to the players and teams that came before us."

Q: How did you develop as a player between your first year and now?
A: I pretty much didn't know how to play soccer when I got here. Coach Vidovich is a great teacher of the game. He takes things from the individual level and teaches you how to play as a member of a team. I learned so much about the game and about my position. It's been great.

Q: What's it going to be like to play your last regular season game at Spry Stadium?
A: It's going to be pretty special to have my friends and family there. We're hoping it's not going to be the last home game there this season. It's going to be an emotional night for our family and friends.

Q: What would you tell someone who is looking to come to Wake Forest what kind of experiences they can expect with the men's soccer team?
A: I would tell them that they're going to a come to a place where they will build a bunch of memories that they'll probably never forget. They'll meet people and learn things that they never imagined. Wake Forest is a great place to grow as both a person and as a player.
