WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's soccer head coach Jay Vidovich announced the addition of three student-athletes to the 2008 recruiting class. With the newcomers, the class now has six high school All-Americans who will join the Demon Deacons in the fall. Doug Ryan - Goalkeeper - Statesville, N.C. "Doug's presence alone at 6'6 will help him compete for a spot and play in the ACC. Being a big guy he's got some work to do with his quickness and his footwork but we really like the potential in this young man," Vidovich said. Alfredo Rodriguez-Allen - Forward - Guatemala City, Guatemala, IMG Soccer Academy "Alfredo has some great attacking qualities, he loves to go at people and he is skilled and confident technically. He comes from a great program down at IMG with Coach Tom Durkin and we look forward to working with him," Vidovich said. Sam Redmond - Midfielder - Asheville, NC "Sam joins us with hopefully a lot to prove. He has competed in Regional and National pools and has always stuck out as one of the most competitive players on the field. He is excited about his opportunity here at Wake Forest and we are very excited to see what he does with it," Vidovich said.
