WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team is gearing up for an action packed weekend of exhibition play at Spry Stadium, beginning with New Mexico on Friday at 8 p.m. followed by a doubleheader featuring Mars Hill and North Carolina on Sunday.

The New Mexico Lobos finished the 2007 season with their fourth consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation title and fourth consecutive invitation the NCAA Tournament. Friday's matchup is a rare treat for college soccer fans, as the two perennial powerhouses have never faced off during regular season play.

On Sunday at 12 p.m. the Demon Deacons will host Mars Hill, a top Division II competitor, and wrap up the home exhibition schedule with league rival North Carolina at 4 p.m.

Admission is free to all exhibition matches.

On April 20, the Deacs will finish out the spring slate with a road trip to Omaha, Nebraska to face the Creighton University Blue Jays.
