A small but extremely quick player who brings speed to the Deacon attack -- had a productive spring -- known for his ability to get behind defenders -- an attacking player with good one-on-one skills.

1999: Participated in 16 games as a freshman in a reserve role -- notched one goal and tallied three assists during the season -- scored his first goal as a Deacon against Charleston Southern and also chalked up two assists in that game.

Before WFU: The Independent School League Player of the Year in 1995 and 1997 -- earned all-conference and all-sectional honors in all four years of high school (1995-98) -- an all-state pick in '97 and again in '98 -- a Chicago Tribune all-state honorable mention pick in '97 and a first-team choice in '98 -- a Chicago Sun-Times all-state second-team choice in '98 -- winner of his team's 1998 Coaches Award -- a two-time varsity team captain (1997-98) -- scored 114 goals in his high school career -- played with the Windy City soccer club in the Chicago area -- a member of the Indiana ODP state team for four years (1996-99) and a three-time team captain (1996-98) -- a member of the ODP regional pool in '98 and '99 and a national pool choice in '99 -- also played two years of varsity basketball in high school.

Personal: Plans to major in business at Wake Forest -- was honored with the Outstanding Contributions to School Life Award all four years of high school -- played for and trained with former U.S. National Team coach Bob Gansler with his club team -- born 4/27/81 -- the son of Phillip and Sandee Rosenband of Hammond, Ind.
