2000 ACC All-Tournament team • was outstanding in the ACC Tournament, allowing just three goals in 240 minutes while making 24 saves • stopped three Clemson penalty kicks in the quarterfinals to enable the Deacons to advance in the tournament • suffered a knee injury early in the season while backing up Rob Vartughian • made his career debut as a surprise starter in the regular season finale at Duke and started the team’s two postseason games • made the Dean’s List in the 2001 spring semester.

Before WFU Played on the Region III Olympic Development Program (ODP) Team • was a member of the North Carolina State Team and the Charlotte Soccer Club Team • also in the adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP) • led the Charlotte Soccer Club to the 2000 Region III championship and third place nationally • led Hunt High School to the North Carolina state championship • named All-South, All-State, All-Region and All-Conference in soccer • elected conference player of the year in soccer • named all-conference in basketball, football and soccer • chosen as the 2000 Athlete of the Year by the Wilson Daily Times • a member of the Academic Excellence Society and National Honor Society.
