Finished the season ranked 43rd nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings...completed the season ranked second on the team in stroke average (72.7)...improved his stroke average from 73.2 in the fall to 72.4 in the spring...captured the individual title at The PING Preview with a three-under 213...earned GolfWorld Collegiate Player of the Week honors for that performance...counted nearly 83 percent of his rounds toward team totals, a mark which ranked second on the team...owned eight top-20 finishes...nearly 43 percent of his rounds were equal/under par...owned an 11.2 final round stroke differential, second on the squad...the team's top finisher in the two events ¡V the PING Preview and the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate, where he placed 10th...posted seven rounds in the 60s...named a GCAA All-American scholar.

The only Deacon to play in all 13 events...compiled a 72.9 stroke average, second on the squad...captured individual medalist honors at the Duke Classic, carding a five-under 211 for the title...his second round 65 at the Duke Classic was a career-low and the lowest score by a Wake Forest golfer in four seasons...was the team's first or second finisher in eight events...recorded six top-20 finishes, including five in the top 10 and four top-five finishes...tied for third at Birkdale with a one-under 143...posted the team's best finish ¡V fourth place ¡V at the ACC Championships with a four-under 212 ...also finished fourth at The Intercollegiate with a 212...turned in 48 percent of his rounds equal or under par...came in under 70 five times...counted 90 percent of rounds towards team totals, second-best on the squad...earned All-ACC honors for the second straight year...finished the season ranked 43rd in the Mastercard Collegiate Rankings.
1999-2000
Became the first Deacon rookie to earn All-ACC honors since Bobby Collins in 1991...ranked 42nd nationally in the final GolfWeek/Sagarin ratings...competed in 13 events, sitting out just one in the fall...led the team in stroke average with a 72.7 clip...posted seven top 10 finishes, five of which were top five showings...had one other top 20 finish...turned in the Deacs¡¦ top finish six times...18 of his 39 rounds were at or under par, with five rounds in the 60s...led the team in percentage of rounds counted (.962)...placed fifth in his first collegiate outing at The Ridges with a 217...finished third at the Cavalier Classic the following week with a two-under 214 as WFU won the team title...also placed 33rd at the Carpet Capital and 43rd at the Iron Duke in the fall...tied for second at the Birkdale Collegiate with a one-under 211 ...tied for third at The Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs, helping Wake secure its second team title of the year...tied for fourth at the Cleveland Golf Collegiate, firing back-to-back rounds in the 60s to open that event (69, 68) and totaling a career-low 54-hole score of 210...tied for 14th in his first ACC Championship...tied his then career-low of 67 in the final round of the NCAA East Regional to place seventh overall ...Wake's top finisher at the NCAA Championships, tying for 24th.
