Player Bios
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Sixteen prospects from nine different states, the District of Columbia and Canada have officially accepted football scholarships to Wake Forest by signing a national letter-of-intent earlier today, Demon Deacon head coach Jim Caldwell has announced.
"We feel that this is the best recruiting class we have had," Caldwell, who is entering his sixth year at Wake Forest, says. "We were able to satisfy our needs in every area and are confident that the individuals in this class will make major contributions toward the improvement of our program in the future."
The only state which produced more than two Wake Forest signees was Georgia with three future Deacons. The group includes nine linemen/linebackers/tight ends, six backs and wide receivers, and one kicking specialist.
