Both teams are bowl eligible and hope to enhance their bowl-worthiness with a win on Saturday. The Deacons are coming off a heartbreaking, last-second loss to Boston College. The Eagles scored with 1:12 to play in the game to claim a 24-21 win. Vanderbilt dropped a 20-10 decision at home to Tennessee. This game will mark the first time since 1959 that both Wake Forest and Vanderbilt have achieved bowl-eligibility in the same season. Saturday's game marks the final home game for 16 Wake Forest seniors. That senior class has become the winningest class in school history, posting a record of 30-19 over the last four years.
