WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 19-ranked Wake Forest will play the first of two straight ACC road games at Maryland on Saturday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is set for 12 noon at Maryland's Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium. The game will be televised regionally on Raycom and on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network. Wake Forest enters at 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the ACC. The Deacs are coming off a 12-7 win at home over Clemson on Oct. 9. Wake quarterback Riley Skinner accounted for 259 of Wake Forest's 342 total offense yards and engineered his fifth career fourth-quarter game-winning drive. Maryland was idle on Oct. 11. The Terrapins' last game was a 31-0 loss at Virginia on Oct. 4 -- a setback that snapped a three-game win streak. Maryland holds a 40-15-1 advantage in the series that dates back to 1917. The Deacons have won the last two meetings including a 38-24 triumph at Maryland in 2006 that clinched the ACC title for Wake Forest. Wake is 8-19 all-time in games played at Maryland.
