WINSTON-SALEM - The Wake Forest football team began its first "Game Week" of the 1998 season here Monday in preparation for the season opener at Air Force this Saturday (Sept.5).

Kickoff time at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs is 1 p.m. (EDT). The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Demon Deacon head coach Jim Caldwell announced Monday that the squad had selected captains for the 1998 season. They are wide receiver Desmond Clark, quarterback Brian Kuklick, linebacker Kelvin Moses and defensive back Jeffrey Muyres.
