The Wake Forest University football team will be honored at halftime of Saturday's ACC basketball game between the Demon Deacons and the University of Virginia. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 at the Joel Coliseum.

Deacon fans will be able to watch a short video highlight film of last fall's 9-4 season that concluded with a 24-10 win over Connecticut in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

During the halftime ceremony, head coach Jim Grobe and the Wake Forest coaching staff will present the Meineke Car Care Bowl trophy to University President Dr. Nathan O. Hatch, Faculty Athletics Representative Dr. Richard Carmichael and Director of Athletics Ron Wellman.
