Scouting Report: One of the most experienced players on the team and will be looked at to provide leadership to the entire team... has come back from a major knee injury two years ago... came out of the spring with a slight edge as the starter... coaches hope he will have a strong senior year both on and off the field... a physical player that has made plays catching the ball... loves contact... an intelligent and bright player that knows the offense... has the ability to get yards in short plays... a strong runner... needs to continue to work on catching balls out of the backfield.

2005: Saw action in all 11 games, including six starting assignments... got the starting nod against Clemson, Florida State, Boston College, NC State and Miami... a key member of Wake Forest's rushing attack that paved the way for ACC Player of the Year Chris Barclay... helped the Deacons to lead the conference in rushing, averaging more than 197 yards per game... carried just three times all season for two yards, but proved to be a weapon out of the backfield with nine receptions... totaled 54 receiving yards on the season... had a long of 17 yards, a key first down on the game-winning drive against Clemson... carried twice at Boston College for no gain... had one carry against Miami for two yards... made four receptions in the Maryland game for 23 yards... had two catches against Clemson for 19 yards... hauled in two passes at Boston College for six yards... made one catch against NC State for six yards.

2004: Was the starter at fullback until a knee injury ended his season prematurely... had great season opener in 2004 against Clemson, but was lost for year with knee injury in week two against East Carolina... had four carries for 21 yards and one catch for eight yards before the injury.

2003: Saw action in 10 games behind starter Nick Burney... earned his first varsity letter... started the final contest, versus Maryland... carried the ball twice at Duke for a total of 10 yards.

2002: Redshirted the season as a true freshman.

Background: A three-year letterwinner and two-year starter in both football and basketball at West Deptford HS... rushed for a school record 1,304 yards and scored 13 touchdowns during his senior year as fullback... also played defensive end junior year and led the team in sacks... tallied 42 tackles and returned a fumble for a touchdown... helped lead the Eagles to the Colonial Conference Liberty Division Championship and a combined record of 25-6 over three seasons... an all-state selection by Gannett News... earned first-team All-Colonial Conference honors as both a running back and defensive end... also named All-Gloucester County and All-South Jersey... listed among New Jersey's Top 100 high school prospects as a senior... coached by Clyde Folsom.
