2004: Played in 10 games, and made four starts against Clemson, East Carolina, North Carolina A&T and NC State... made six catches for 115 yards and one touchdown... rushed 13 times for 59 yards... was the team's primary punt returner... averaged 4.7 yards per return and had a long of 20... caught a 40-yard, game-winning touchdown with 1:07 to go against Boston College... had two catches for 51 yards at East Carolina... made two receptions against Clemson for 21 yards... had a three-yard catch against Florida State... missed the Duke game due to injury.

Background: An outstanding all-around athlete who played defensive back and quarterback in football, point guard in basketball and was a standout performer on the track team at Baylor... rushed for 2,846 yards, passed for 667 yards and was responsible for 39 touchdowns in two seasons at quarterback... a two-time all-state selection and finalist for Mr. Football in Tennessee... coached by David Bibee... clocked with 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash... was the Tennessee state champion in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters and was runner-up in the triple jump, long jump and decathlon... set school records in both the long jump and triple jump... a three-year starter in basketball, leading the team in assists and steals... earned all-region and all-state honors in hoops as a senior.
