A great special teams player who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first game of last season... coaches look for him to compete for a place on the field... very athletic player that has great length and range.
2004:
Injured his knee at Clemson on Sept. 4 during the second quarter while making a tackle on a kickoff... missed the remainder of the season.
2003:
Saw action in 10 games... bothered by a hamstring injury in the second half of the season... recorded his first collegiate stats with two assisted tackles against NC State... recorded two solo stops in the win over ECU... also forced a Pirate fumble... suffered a hamstring injury and did not return after halftime against Georgia Tech... sat out the Duke and Florida State games... saw limited playing time against Connecticut, North Carolina and Clemson and did not record any stats... recorded one solo tackle against Maryland.
2002:
Redshirted the season as a true freshman.
Background:
Didn't touch a football until his sophomore year of high school... helped Northern Durham HS post an 11-3 record in 2001, advancing to the third round of the playoffs before losing to eventual state champions, Independence... played in all 14 games his senior season, totaling 115 tackles, 10 pass breakups and five interceptions... made 65 tackles and intercepted seven passes as a junior... blocked three kicks and scored three times on defense... named to the all-conference, all-area and all-region teams as a senior... coached by Gary Merrill, a former teammate of recruiting coordinator Ray McCartney at Guilford College... a standout track performer... ranked 12th in the country in the indoor 500 meters... finished fifth in the state in the 400 meters as a junior... qualified for the Nike Indoor Classic.

Majoring in sociology... born August 29, 1984... son of Vincent Arrington and LaTanya Adams... is one of two Deacons from Northern Durham HS, as he and classmate Josh Gattis both came to WFU in 2002.
