WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 10-ranked Wake Forest is set to play at in-state rival East Carolina on Monday, Dec. 22. The game, which will tip-off at 7 p.m. at Minges Coliseum in Greenville, will be available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network. It will also be televised by the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network and across eastern North Carolina on WITN-TV.

The Demon Deacons bring a 10-0 record into Monday's game. Wake is coming off an 86-79 victory at Richmond on Friday. The Deacons led by as many as 14 but had to make their free throws to hold on in the end.

Richmond pulled to within five, 73-68, with three minutes to play, but Wake Forest made 9-of-10 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

Chas McFarland led the Deacs with his first double-double of the season, finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Jeff Teague paced Wake Forest with 21 points, while Al-Farouq Aminu and L.D. Williams had 14 apiece.

East Carolina comes in at 8-2 following an 87-76 loss at NC State last Wednesday in Raleigh. The Pirates are 6-1 at Minges Coliseum this season with their only blemish coming on Nov. 22 to George Mason.

Wake Forest has won all five previous meetings with East Carolina, dating back to the 1969-70 season. The Deacons and Pirates are meeting for the first time outside of Winston-Salem.
