WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 11-ranked Wake Forest will return from its final exams break to host Horizon League foe Wright State in front of a national television audience on Sunday, Dec. 14. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum. The game will be televised on FSN's Sunday Night Hoops and is also available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

The Deacons (8-0) are coming off a seven-day layoff for final exams. Wake's last contest was an 81-52 defeat of Bucknell on Saturday, Dec. 6. Jeff Teague led the Deacs to victory, scoring 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Teague was 4-for-6 from three-point range and also dished out four assists.

L.D. Williams chipped in 13 points to post his third straight game in double figures. Ishmael Smith came off the bench to dish out a season-high five assists, while Chas McFarland had seven points and seven boards.

Wright State (1-6) will play at Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday, Dec. 12, before coming to Winston-Salem. The Raiders picked up their first win of the season on Dec. 9, defeating Toledo, 50-35, in Dayton.

Wake Forest and Wright State have never met previously. The Deacons have faced the Horizon League just twice before, going 1-1 with a defeat of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1993 and a loss to Butler in 2001.

Quickie Notes
- Wake Forest has scored 80+ points in four straight games. The last time the Deacons accomplished the feat was in 2004-05 when Wake had 80+ points in six consecutive contests from Jan. 27 - Feb. 12.
- Wake Forest is one of just three Division I schools in the country whose men's and women's basketball teams are both still undefeated. Connecticut and North Carolina are the other two.

Next Up...
Wake Forest will play its first true road game of the year on Friday, Dec. 19, at Richmond. The Deacs will play a second straight road game when they travel to East Carolina for a Dec. 22 matchup vs. the Pirates. Wake will return home on Dec. 30 to host Radford.
