WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 19-ranked Wake Forest will face Big 12 foe Baylor in the championship game of the 76 Classic on Sunday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET. at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The game will be televised by ESPN2 and is also available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

The Demon Deacons (5-0) earned a spot in the title game with their 82-79 defeat of UTEP on Friday afternoon. Wake Forest pulled out the win over the upstart Miners by hitting their free throws late in the game. The Deacs went 6-for-8 from the free throw line in the final two minutes.

Jeff Teague led the way for Wake with 29 points. Teague went 13-of-16 from the free throw line, including a perfect 6-for-6 in the final two minutes of the game. James Johnson had 18 points, while Al-Farouq Aminu finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Baylor (6-0) advanced to the championship with its 87-78 defeat of No. 14 Arizona State on Friday evening. The Bears, who led by as many as 16 in the second half, were led by LaceDarius Dunn's 27 points off the bench.

Wake Forest and Baylor have never met on the hardwood. The Deacons got the best of the Bears this fall on the gridiron, picking up a 41-13 season-opening win in Waco.

Quickie Notes
- Wake Forest has started the season 5-0 for the fifth time in the past seven seasons and for the first time since 2006-07. The Deacs have not started a season 6-0 since 2003-04 when they started 11-0.
- Guard Harvey Hale, the Deacs' lone scholarship senior on the roster, played in his 100th career game on Friday vs. UTEP.
- Head coach Dino Gaudio picked up his 90th career win on Friday vs. UTEP.

Next Up...
Wake Forest will fly back to Winston-Salem on Monday morning. The Deacs are set to host Indiana on Wednesday, Dec. 3, in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The game will be televised on ESPN with tip-off set for 7:15 p.m. Wake will then host Bucknell on Dec. 6.
