Preview:

Coming off one of its biggest wins in recent memory, Wake Forest will look to carry over the momentum against No. 3 North Carolina on Sunday. The Deacs, who upset then No. 2 Duke last Sunday, will take on the rival Tar Heels at 6:30 p.m. in a national broadcast on FSN's Sunday Night Hoops.

Wake Forest enters the matchup at 16-8 overall and 6-5 in the ACC. The Deacs took down ACC-leader Duke, 86-73, last weekend in Winston-Salem. James Johnson and Jeff Teague combined to score 50 points. Johnson posted a double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds.

North Carolina comes in at 25-2 overall and 10-2 in the ACC following its 84-70 win at NC State on Wednesday. The Tar Heels are led by Tyler Hansbrough with 23.1 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

UNC leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 150-63. However, the Deacons have won six of the past 10 meetings since 2001-02.

Quickie Notes
- Wake Forest has played in Chapel Hill just once (Feb. 10, 2007) in its past five meetings with UNC. The last time the Deacs won there was the epic 119-114 triple-overtime victory on Dec. 20, 2003.
- James Johnson is second in the ACC in field goal percentage in conference games only. Johnson is shooting 52.8 percent (67-128) in 11 league games this season.
- Jeff Teague is shooting 78.6 percent (88-112) from the foul line this season. Teague has made 82.4 percent (42-51) of his free throws in the final five minutes of games.

Next Up:

Wake Forest will return home to host Maryland on Thursday at 8 p.m. The Deacons will then travel to Georgia Tech (March 1) and Virginia Tech (March 4) before wrapping up the regular season with NC State at home on March 8.
