Preview:

Wake Forest and Duke will meet for the 231st time on Sunday evening at Joel Coliseum. The Deacons and the No. 2-ranked Blue Devils are set to play in primetime at 7:30 p.m. on FSN's Sunday Night Hoops.

The Deacons enter the game 15-8 overall and 5-5 in the ACC following their 78-70 win at Florida State on Thursday. The victory was Wake's first ACC road win of the season. Chas McFarland posted his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Jeff Teague led the Deacs with 18 points. Gary Clark chipped in a season-high 13 points off the bench.

No. 2-ranked Duke comes in at 22-1 overall and a perfect 10-0 in the ACC. The Blue Devils are coming off a 77-65 defeat of Maryland on Wednesday in Durham.

Duke leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 155-75, but the Deacons have won three of the past four at Joel Coliseum. Wake will be trying to snap a five-game losing streak to Duke that dates back to 2004-05.

Quickie Notes
- This will not be the first time Dino Gaudio and Mike Krzyzewski have matched wits on the hardwood. Krzyzewski and Duke downed Gaudio's Army squad, 100-38, during the 1996-97 season in Durham.
- Jeff Teague is shooting 84.8 percent (39-46) from the free throw line during the final five minutes of games. Teague was 9-for-10 from the line in the last five minutes at FSU.
- An unranked Wake Forest team last upset a No. 2-ranked squad on Feb. 13, 1994, when the Deacs took down Duke 78-69 at Joel Coliseum.

Next Up:

Wake Forest will be off during the mid-week before travelling to Chapel Hill on Feb. 24 to face No. 5-ranked North Carolina at 6:30 p.m. Wake Forest will then host Maryland on Feb. 28 and play at Georgia Tech two days later on Mar. 1.
