HONOLULU (AP) - Alex Scales scored 26 points, including an off-balance 15-footer from the left side of the key with 4.7 seconds left, to give Oregon a 67-66 victory over No. 19 Wake Forest in the opening round of the Rainbow Classic on Tuesday night.

Robert O'Kelley stole the ball on an inbounds play and scored with 16 seconds left to give Wake Forest (8-2) a 66-65 lead.

Oregon (7-1) will play Gonzaga, which beat Ohio 83-55, in Wednesday's semifinals.

With Scales putting on a dunk spectacular, the Ducks rallied from an eight-point deficit to take the lead for the first time in the second half.

Scales touched off a 13-6 run with two dunks and a reverse layup.

Then, in a span of six minutes, the teams exchanged leads seven times before a 3-pointer by Scales and a basket by Frederick Jones gave the Ducks a 61-56 lead with 2:36 remaining.

Wake Forest got to within three, but A.D. Smith scored on a follow shot and added two free throws to give Oregon some breathing room.

O'Kelley made the front end of a 1-and-1 and Josh Shoemaker followed with a basket to cut it to 65-64 and set the stage for the final points.

O'Kelley finished with 20 points for Wake Forest, which led 38-32 at halftime.
