An athletic and versatile rookie wing... comes to Wake Forest from Montverde (Fla.) Academy -- the same school that produced Demon Deacon sophomore L.D. Williams.
High School
Played under coach Kevin Sutton... played just one season at Montverde Academy... although he and Deacon sophomore L.D. Williams both attended Monteverde, the two never played together... signed with the Deacons in the April signing period... averaged 14.5 points and 3.4 rebounds as a senior... shot 48 percent from the floor, 43 percent from 3-point range and 85 percent from the free-throw line.... the Eagles finished 30-0 last season and was ranked No. 1 among national teams by Hoops USA and No. 4 by USA Today... Rivals ranked him as one of the top 25 shooting guards and one of the top 150 prospects overall in the nation... others who played for Montverde last season were Joseph Katuka (George Washington), Solomon Alibi (Florida State) and Jean Michel Yotio (UCF), both of whom will play at Division I schools next season... played for the U.S. All-Stars in the annual Capital Classic in College Park, Md... started, scored 10 points and had two assists in the April 5th game.

A Sarasota (Fla.) native... played AAU ball for the Tallahassee Wildcats... not to be confused with the Gary Clark who was an NFL wide receiver in the 1980's and 1990's, the actor, or blues guitarist Gary Clark, Jr.
