One of the most popular walk-ons in recent Wake Forest history... a four-year member of the Deacon basketball team... a non-scholarship player who was the ideal walk-on... served as a team captain as a senior.
2005-06
Saw action in seven games and made his first career start on Senior Day, March 4, against NC State ... played three minutes against the Wolfpack and left the game with the Deacons leading, 7-2 ... played in six non-conference games ... pulled down three rebounds and dished out one assist.
2004-05
Played in 12 games, including five ACC contests... saw action in six non-conference games prior to Jan. 1... played three minutes in an ACC road win at Clemson Jan. 8... also played three minutes in Feb. 12 ACC win over Florida State... played a career-high seven minutes, recorded two steals and had one point Feb. 23 against visiting Longwood... his only field goal was a break-away dunk against Virginia Feb. 27 that brought the Lawrence Joel Coliseum crowd to its feet.
2003-04
Played in six games including one ACC contest... made his only field goal attempt on the season -- against North Carolina A&T.
High School
Long Island Lutheran... played for coach Ronn Hall... earned three letters in basketball and two in baseball for the Crusaders... averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior... played in two straight New York State semifinals... played against former NC State standout Julius Hodge in both of those semifinals... was team MVP as a senior... a standout baseball player... batted .480 as the Crusaders won the NYC Independent League... earned all-conference and team MVP in baseball as a senior... made the academic honor roll every quarter of high school and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class.
