Wake Forest closes their 2005 Hooks Stadium schedule this weekend with ACC rival Clemson. The scheduled for the weekend series is as follows: Friday (3 pm), Saturday (1:30 pm) and Sunday (1 pm). Saturday's game will also be special as the 1955 NCAA Championship team will be honored with a ceremony prior to first pitch. There will be radio for the entire series with the Tigers. Those games will be broadcast live on WBRF-FM (98.1) and will be available on the world wide web at WakeForestSports.com through the Yahoo subscription service.

RANKINGS... Wake Forest is unranked in any of the four polls, while Clemson is receiving votes in both the NCBWA and Sports Weekly/ESPN polls.

ON DECK... After this weekend's crucial ACC series with Clemson, Wake Forest will travel to High Point on May 17, before closing the regular season at Virginia Tech (May 19-21).

The Series vs. the Tigers: Clemson leads 105-43-1.

Notes: The Tigers also lead the all-time series at Hooks Stadium 39-22... Clemson has knocked off the Demon Deacons nine consecutive times dating back to the 2002 season (four straight at Hooks Stadium)... Wake's last victory over the Tigers came on April 26, 2002 in a 4-2 triumph at Doug Kinsmore Stadium... The Deacs have not defeated the Tigers at Hooks Stadium since March 24, 2001 when Wake was victorious, 12-3... Wake Forest did capture six straight over Clemson during the 1998 and 1999 seasons.
