Wake Forest-Elon Game Postponed

March 19, 2008

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's game at Elon, scheduled for today at 7 p.m., has been postponed due to heavy rain expected to move into the area late in the afternoon. A makeup date has yet to be determined.

The Demon Deacons will return to action this weekend with a three-game ACC series at No. 6-ranked Miami.

This marks the fourth time this season that Wake Forest has been rained out. The Deacs have already had rain outs in scheduled contests at Pepperdine (Feb. 23), at Winthrop (March 4) and home against Clemson (March 8). Wake went the entire 2007 season without a postponement or cancellation.
