Winston-Salem, N.C. - Tuesday's season-opening baseball game at Davidson has been postponed due to winter-like weather. The game will be rescheduled for a later date still to be determined.

The Demon Deacons will travel to Houston, Texas, this weekend to participate in the Rice University Coca-Cola Classic at Reckling Park. Wake Forest will face top-ranked Rice on Friday night at 6:00 p.m. central time. On Saturday, the Deacons play Lamar University and wrap up the event with Cal State Northridge on Sunday.

Junior left-hander Tim Morley will pitch against the Owls on Friday night.
