A speedy, left-handed, leadoff-type hitter that covers tremendous groud in center field... was drafted after his freshman year at Modesto JC in the 39th round by the Florida Marlins... possesses an outstanding work ethic... joins in the growing list of California junior college outfielders to join Wake Forest in recent years following Ryan Hubbard (2002-03), Cory Sullivan (2000-01) and Scott Daeley (1998-99)... a communications major... born July 20, 1983 in Livermore, Calif.

In 2004:
Started and played in all 50 games while recording a .264 average... hit three home runs, 24 RBI, and had a team-high four triples... swiped seven bases on seven attempts... went 1-for-3 with a walk and three runs at Liberty... hit a two-run home run at Cal State Northridge... had a double and a triple against Western Carolina and also added two runs and two RBI... went 3-for-4 with two RBI against Tennessee-Martin... had five hits in the series at Duke while adding two runs and two RBI... in the series finale with Maryland registered a RBI, three hits, a walk and two runs scored... closed out the season on a high-note in the ACC Tournament versus Maryland by hitting 5-for-5 with three RBI, a run scored and a stolen base... had just one error en route to a .993 fielding percentage.
