Considered to be the best prep shortstop in the midwest... drafted in the sixth round by the Chicago White Sox, but opted to attend Wake Forest instead... a tremendous talent with good speed, power, feet, hands and arm strength... has great baseball instincts... bothered by a back injury suffered last summer but showed steady improvement during fall practice... could get a look as the Deacons’ closer this year... throws in the low-90’s.

Three-time All-Michigan selection... team MVP as a sophomore and senior... three-team All-Region... holds the Grosse Pointe South career records for batting average (.465), doubles, stolen bases, walks and saves... rated by Team One as one of the top 20 middle infielders in the country... participated in the Area Code Games in 2001... carried Grosse Point South to a state championship as a junior... also lettered in football and golf... played at Grosse Pointe South for coach Dan Griestaum.
