Wake Forest University has long challenged students to develop multi-dimensionally. A vision of opportunities is nurtured by our motto, Pro Humanitate (For Humanity), and students are encouraged and expected to contribute as leaders to the fabric of the greater community.
A strong history of such high expectations empowers students to continue to explore new possibilities. Wake Forest University consistently ranks in the top of the ACC and NCAA in its high graduation rate, as well as in the number of student-athletes represented on the Dean's List and receiving the title of Academic All-American. Such success is not driven by the hope of an award, however it is sometimes acknowledged by one.

Rhodes Scholar The Rhodes Scholarships are the oldest international fellowships, established in 1902. Each year, students from all over the world are selected with 32 students from the United States for a prestigious fellowship. The selection committee seeks excellence in qualities of mind and in qualities of person which, in combination, offer the promise of effective service to the world in the decades ahead. Rhodes Scholars are elected for two years of study at the University of Oxford, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. |
