Acting as a bridge between academics and athletics, the Academic Services team works diligently with professors, coaches, families and most importantly students, to help ensure that each individual student-athlete achieves success in the classroom.

We Are a Team

Working in conjunction with the Dean's office and other University administrative offices, the Academic Counseling team aims to provide a comprehensive approach to the academic experience. In addition, the academic counselors serve as liaisons to members of the Wake Forest University faculty.

We Work with Students

Academic counselors work in conjunction with the Learning Assistance Center to assist student-athletes in areas of time management and organization.

Members of our team edit and produce the Student-Athlete Planner which is distributed each year to all Demon Deacon student-athletes. Our Academic Counseling team also directs the study hall program, oversees the tutorial program and provides general academic support to all student-athletes.

We Celebrate Graduation

Graduation is a special time for everyone. To mark the occasion, we host a luncheon following the commencement ceremony for graduates and their immediate families. This is an awesome occasion for the entire Wake Forest family and we enjoy recognizing our newest alumnae!
