Craig Zakrzewski Position: Assistant Equipment Manager Teams: Men's & Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Tennis

Craig Zakrzewski begins his sixth year as Assistant Equipment Manager, where he works with the Deacon men's and women's basketball teams. In addition, he is responsible for the equipment needs for the Wake Forest women's soccer program and the men's and women's tennis teams.

Zakrzewski is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and is a participant in the Nike EM/T Footwear Testing Program.

A Buffalo, NY native, Zakrzewski earned a degree in communications from Wake Forest in 2000. While an undergraduate at Wake Forest, he was the Head Student Manager for the Demon Deacon men's basketball team, where he was a member of the 2000 NIT Championship team, and also worked with the Demon Deacon football team.

Prior to his return to Wake Forest in August 2002, Zakrzewski worked for 2 years as a Financial Analyst and Commercial Banking Lender for M&T Bank Corporation in Buffalo, NY and Philadelphia, PA.

Zakrzewski and his wife, Jennifer, also a 2000 Wake Forest graduate, reside in Winston-Salem. Their days are kept busy with their 3-year old son, Luke, and their dog, Riley. A huge supporter of all things Buffalo, Zakrzewski is also a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan.
