Gary Petit enters his second year at Wake Forest as the Media Relations Assistant in 2009-10 . Petit serves as the primary media contact for the Demon Deacon volleyball, men's golf, women's golf and men's and women's track & field teams. Petit joined the Wake Forest staff in June 2008, after serving as a graduate assistant for Ohio Northern University's sports information office the previous two years. The Marietta, Ohio native earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Baldwin-Wallace College in 2006 and his master's in sport administration from Bowling Green State University in 2008. Petit and his wife, Rebekah, reside in Winston-Salem with their two dogs, Oliver and Olivia. |
