Kirsten Elleby is in her third full season at Wake Forest where she serves as the Assistant Director of Compliance.

A 2002 graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Elleby served in a number of athletic administrative roles at Coppin State University in Baltimore before coming to Wake Forest in January 2007. She was an intern in compliance and student support services during the 2004-05 year before being hired as the Assistant Athletic Director for Administration and as the Coordinator of Academic Support.

In 2006, Elleby was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Welfare at Coppin State. In that role, she developed compliance training and rules-education seminars for all department coaches, staff and student-athletes.

In her current role at Wake Forest, Elleby is responsible for conducting compliance meetings with student-athletes, managing all athletic scholarships and financial aid matters, directing the distribution and collection of National Letters of Intent and monitoring compliance with NCAA playing and practice season legislation and recruiting activities.

Elleby earned her Master of Science in Education at Old Dominion University in 2004.
