Meet the Student Managers
The Student Managers are the lifeblood of the Wake Forest University equipment room operations. Student Managers are assigned to specific teams based on need and interest. It is our goal to assign student managers to teams and sports that they enjoy, because it will make their experience more worthwhile and meaningful.
There are currently 34 student managers employed by the Equipment Room. Some students choose to work with more than one team and such opportunities are highly encouraged.
Student Managers at Wake Forest are not treated as independent of the teams that they work for. Our University and coaching staffs realize the importance of the student managers and treat them as they would their recruited student athletes. Our student managers become part of the team on the first day they start working.
